WEDDING TASKERS PLANNER AND JOURNAL
Design and Illustration
AIM
Mel from Wedding Taskers set out to create a luxurious yet heartfelt wedding experience for couples navigating their planning journey. This included a wedding planner and self-care journal, complete with premium packaging – a gift box, custom tissue paper and a thank you card – plus digital options for easy, interactive planning.
My role was to illustrate and design the wedding planner, journal and packaging to reflect this elegant and inclusive experience.
PROCESS
The design embraced a soft, romantic watercolour style. Each page features hand-drawn illustrations – from wedding dresses and floral details to guest list flowcharts and chapter icons – creating a cohesive and beautiful flow.
The branded palette of blush, peach, dusty blue and sage tie everything together, complemented by native Australian florals throughout.
SOLUTION
The final outcome was a beautiful collaboration that brought together thoughtful design, emotion and practicality. Every detail was created with inclusivity in mind, ensuring all couples felt seen and celebrated.
The Wedding Planner
Designed to help couples feel organised without overwhelm, it guides them through each stage of planning in a calm and supportive way. Soft watercolour illustrations, gentle pastels and QR codes linking to digital tools make it both beautiful and functional – a planner that feels personal and effortless.
The Self-Care Journal
The perfect partner to the planner, this journal offers space for reflection and grounding throughout the wedding process. Filled with gentle prompts, affirmations and thoughtful reflections, it encourages couples to slow down, breathe and stay connected.
Together, they create a luxurious, inclusive and heartfelt experience – helping couples plan with clarity and celebrate with intention.
