Wildflower Society of western Australia
Brand Refresh

AIM
To modernise and unify the Wildflower Society of WA’s (WSWA) digital presence across it’s 11 branches – making it more engaging and easier to manage. The goal was to improve digital communications, better attract and serve members and supporters and ensure the Society could respond to evolving technology.
I focused on refreshing the overall visual identity and developing a cohesive brand system used across the website, social media, e-newsletters and other digital platforms. The aim was to deliver a consistent and accessible design solution that staff and volunteers could confidently use and manage.

THE PROCESS
We retained the original WSWA logo icon but updated the typography for improved clarity and accessibility. Each branch logo was reviewed, refined or newly designed in collaboration with the branches to ensure brand consistency across the Society.
A comprehensive branding package was created, including:
-
A brand guideline (colour palette, fonts and graphic elements)
-
Custom botanical illustrations for each branch flower
-
Website icons
-
A redesigned homepage layout for the refreshed website
-
Canva templates for social media, e-newsletters and webinar promotions
Evolution of the WSWA Logo

THE SOLUTION
To support consistency and empower branches to manage their own marketing with ease, I developed a practical suite of branded tools:
-
Customised branding toolkits for each branch
-
Canva templates for digital communications
-
A library of branding assets for web development and ongoing content creation
This solution provided WSWA and it’s 11 branches with the clarity, flexibility and confidence to communicate more effectively across all digital platforms.
